Giles Bonnet is an interesting coach to say the least. He introduced a pro attitude with the Belgian men back in the days, he worked with his homecountry South Africa, China and now the Canadian women. Floris Geerts from the Belgian Hockey Podcast spoke with him about his vision and ideas. The life of an ambitious coach from an ambitious team who are not playing the Pro League... Giles Bonnet brought almost his entire team over to Europe to play a full season of these top club leagues in the Netherlands and Belgium. Not to be a part of the usual top teams but to be important for those clubs playing the top league. An approach which requires some major sacrifices from his players but he sees their progress.... and is amazed other countries (other than most of Argentina men with the succes we've all seen in 2014 & 2016) are not choosing this path as well...
