Ollie Paterson speaks with internationally renowned poet Anne Waldman to discuss a collaborative audio work they created together based on Waldman’s poem 'Hafez: Tongue of the Unseen'.
In this special episode, the conversation touches on the context surrounding the work of Hafez, the 14th century Persian poet and prophet, co-opting texts, spiritual practice, rituals and their effects on poetic praxis, as well as dissecting the process of experimenting with audio and poetry that generated the final piece.
