Deze speciale eindejaarseditie van de podcast bespreken we niet één film, maar een heel filmjaar, dat ondanks alles zoveel moois te bieden had. Wat waren onze favorieten? Waren er rechtvaardige films in een onrechtvaardige wereld? En was Twilight de meest besproken film van dit podcastjaar? 

2020 was het jaar waarin we heel hard huilden om Babyteeth, waarin de complotten en complottheorien uit Kajillionaire en Bacurau wel erg dichtbij kwamen, waarin Do The Right Thing perfect op z’n plaats viel, jullie massaal De Beentjes van Sint Hildegard bezochten en we boos werden op de verschrikkelijke bazen uit The Assistant en Bombshell. 

2020 was natuurlijk ook het begin van de Coronacrisis, van verhalen die we hiervoor alleen uit apocalyptische films kenden. Het was het jaar waarin we telkens dachten: was het maar een film. In deze podcast kwamen we samen om te praten over de films die het afgelopen jaar een beetje meer behapbaar maakten. We hebben het over de trends, the feelz, de schoonheid en de troost, de hoogtepunten en tranendallen.
