Duncan Macmillan over Every Brilliant Thing & Ademen
*english below

Muziek: Utopia and Visions (Don Cherry, 1972)

The plays of the British playwright Duncan Macmillan are performed all around the world. What makes their stories so universal? In this episode of HNTpodcast Macmillan is interviewed about two of them: Every Brilliant Thing and Lungs. They discuss taboo subjects in a light manner and give a spark of hope and comfort. Macmillan is radical in his attention to the audience.
The accompanying music is the song Utopia and Visions by Don Cherry. It’s the song Macmillan listens to when he seeks comfort. Find it in our Spotify-list ‘Every Brilliant Song’.
